Travel by train and private car through scenic landscapes, visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Prambanan and Borobudur, and conclude your journey by crossing the Bali Strait to the Island of the Gods. Day 1: Arrival in Yogyakarta – Prambanan Temple
Welcome to Yogyakarta, the cultural soul of Java. Upon arrival, meet your guide and start your exploration with a visit to Prambanan Temple, a magnificent 9th-century Hindu sanctuary and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire its intricate carvings and feel the sacred atmosphere of this vast temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva.
After the visit, check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Yogyakarta City Tour – Borobudur Temple
After breakfast, explore the highlights of Yogyakarta: visit the Keraton (Sultan’s Palace), stroll through the Water Castle (Taman Sari), and experience local life at the bird market and along the lively Malioboro Street.
In the afternoon, continue to the world-renowned Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist monument on earth and another UNESCO masterpiece. Walk among ancient stupas and serene Buddha statues while learning about the temple’s history and symbolism.
Return to your hotel for an evening of rest and reflection.

Day 3: Yogyakarta – Bromo (By Train and Car)
After breakfast, transfer to Yogyakarta Railway Station and enjoy a scenic train ride to Mojokerto. From there, continue by private car to your hotel near Mount Bromo, passing through charming villages and lush countryside.
Arrive in the evening and relax in your mountain retreat.

Day 4: Mount Bromo Sunrise – Crater Rim – Transfer to Ijen
Wake up before dawn for a spectacular sunrise adventure at Mount Bromo. Ride by jeep to a panoramic viewpoint to witness the sun rising over the vast Tengger Caldera and Mount Semeru’s smoking peak, one of Indonesia’s most iconic views.
Descend to the Sea of Sand and climb up to Bromo’s crater rim to experience the power of the volcano firsthand.
After breakfast at the hotel, continue your journey eastward to the Ijen area, a drive of about seven to eight hours.

Day 5: Ijen Crater Trek – Ferry to Bali
Depart early for your Ijen Volcano trek, one of the most remarkable natural experiences in Indonesia. Hike to the crater rim at 2883 meters and witness the stunning turquoise crater lake, dramatic sulfur clouds, and the hardworking miners carrying heavy loads of sulfur.
After descending, return to your hotel for breakfast, then transfer to Banyuwangi Port to take the ferry across the Bali Strait to the Island of the Gods.

Prambanan Temple and Keraton Palace are closed on Mondays (Borobudur Temple is open daily).
Mount Ijen is closed on the first Friday of every month.
