Access and Route
There are two main scenic routes to reach Nglinggo:
• From Yogyakarta City:
Take the route via Godean – Sentolo – Nanggulan – Samigaluh – Nglinggo. The final stretch features winding uphill roads, well-paved and surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.
• From Borobudur or Magelang:
Another option goes through Borobudur – Salaman – Ngargoretno – Samigaluh – Nglinggo, ideal for travelers combining Borobudur Temple and a nature getaway in Kulon Progo.
Visitors can reach the site by private car, motorbike, or Menoreh Jeep, with parking available near the entrance. A short walk leads directly into the main tea garden area.
